SVMPA Summer Vocal Music Program in Abruzzo

Daily Schedule:

7am to 9am Breakfast in Restaurant or Cafe

9:15am to 10:30 Full Immersion Italian language instruction in upstairs room- Section 1 (10 to 13 students) Jennifer Nazzari Bruna- Instructor

10:15 to noon Full Immersion Italian language instruction in upstairs room - Section 2 (10 to 13 students) Jennifer Nazzari Bruna - Instructor

12:15 to 1:15pm Italian Diction for Singers (art song and opera arias)- Upstairs Room- MWF

12:15 to 1:15pm TTH Singer/Songwriter Class or Scenes Rehearsal

1:15 to 3:15pm - Enjoy Lido activities (pool and sea) Lunch and Practice rooms will be available

No vocal practice in bungalows; rooms in the venue will be available for practice

3:15 to 4:00pm Voice Lessons and Coaching in larger bungalows or stages or room spaces at Lido

Each student will receive 2 to 3 - 45 min to 1 hour voice lessons and coaching's per week with various faculty and on various genres of voice. Ex: Opera, art song, traditional musical theater and contemporary musical theater and contemporary song (either singer/songwriter or cover song) ALL Instructors will be available

*Accompanists will rotate between various studios

*some lessons and coachings may involve 2 faculty members and be more of a masterclass

*we are also offering 1 Master Class each weekend. Maybe one opera one and one musical theater one and a Van trip into Roseto for shopping etc. And to the Altri theater and Pescara

4:00 to 5:00pm Audition Techniques and YAP programs Classical MWF

Week 3

4:00 to 5:30 Opera, Oratorio, Recital MT and Theater auditions summer stock, Equity, AGMA, Italian MT and Pop opera, Singer/Songwriter path Week 3 TTH

Full Faculty w Q and A last half hour

5:30 to 7:00pm Dinner and Lido activities (Fitness Center and Spa; Market, Cafe and Sea)

7:30pm Rehearsal for opera scenes (Inside or outside Stage)

Week 1 Musical Preparation

For MT scenes, art song and opera scenes and stage direction for MT scenes performance that weekend
Week 2 Art Song performance preparation and opera stage direction. Prep for Art Song/Oratorio recital
Week 3 Stage Direction for Opera Scene performance
Singer/Songwriter performances: Saturday (Second Session only) and Karoake Night (First and Second Sessions if wanted)
